Sometimes a prototype just doesn't behave the way you want it to – being unreliable, working different than expected or not working at all, just to name a few. The reasons can be endless, from a broken wire or a faulty solder connection.

The multimeter is a handy tool to "look inside" a prototype and measure the physical connections to narrow the issue down.
