Wonderful about screen-based prototyping is that you work mostly visual and can choose whichever tool you already know and feel most comfortable with – Photoshop, Illustrator or even Powerpoint.
Over the recent years some alternative tools popped up that specialise on the creation of user interfaces, each one with their own unique approach and advantages and disadvantages. In the end they all are quite similar and will get the job done.
